Well just got the word today 181 is canceled as of April 9, 2010 due to Bank of America stopping shipments out of PHL.
Anyone know of any jobs in the Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC area? |

Sorry to hear that. Are you committed to the PHL area or are you willing to bid out of PHL??
Good Luck! |

Thanks for the good lucks.
It is a possibility that I would move from PHL but it would have to be a really good opportunity. I own my home, my wife has a good job here, and my son is enrolled in school for Sept. As to moving for AirNet, I highly doubt it except for maybe BWI.
So it looks like unemployment here I come. |

Sorry to hear it Matt.
In case you weren't aware of it, the run on the bid sheet (422) spends all day (like 8 hours) sitting in BWI. I don't know how far you are from there or if it would be feasible for you to get home during the day but it might be better than unemployment. |

Sorry to hear it Matt. Are they going to let you float philly till your 60 days are up?
Would you consider AirWhisky- they are hiring, or so I hear. _________________ Please welcome your benevolent FLX overlords. |

Well, the fun continues...
Losing two more runs in ADS next month. Both going to our friends at FLX. |

| That would be a total of 4 runs out of ADS lost in a month. |

I've heard tell of another run having been cancelled in BHM. Anyone know if this is also a given to FLX deal?
In a related note, a good buddy of mine in TEB was given furlough notice last week. He's been retained for a few months because things were still shaking up. Last week it looked like he had a secure job. Then another run in ADS closed (was this also given to FLX?) so that pilot bid on a BUR which in a roundabout way was going to secure TEB spot for my buddy. It's pure conjecture unless someone can confirm, if this ADS run was given to FLX, my buddy is kind of the first official furlough due to our runs being given to FLX.
So should we all make the switch now so we can start to bid for seniority? _________________ Please welcome your benevolent FLX overlords. |

I think two ADS runs disappeared completely and two were given to FLX. I'm not 100% sure on that. It's all bank work down there and we know that's the kiss of the Dodo.
The seat seniority list shows us understaffed. I'm surprised we're furloughing. |

| I think there are still at least two unfilled runs (1347/1348 and 302) so any furloughs would have been by choice. |

| nah not by choice. I was told there was NOTHING available to me and my time could not be extended until the next bid because I was already extended 1 week already. Brit, u know 1347/1348 was taken and the other one wasn't offered to me, but u know my situation and it won't work. Don't know how to justify a furlough when i've flown every week as the only reserve pilot on the east coast... :/ |

| Sorry to hear it man. I didn't realize they had filled all the runs. Good luck-- it seems like hiring is starting to pick up. Go find something better than this shit and tell Airnet to shove it when you get recalled. |

FLX hasn't picked up anything from Airnet in BHM so far. I think FLX swiped a Paragon run between BHM and BFM, and there was talk of something possibly going between CLT and BHM, but thats all I've heard. |

| Look into Quest Diagnostics in Reading, PA. They fly nice equipment and I interviewed there back in 2005. There was a hiring freeze so I didn't get hired but they pay pretty well and it's local. Good luck, 181 is my old run after my BHM run closed, so I know how it goes. |
